This is an introduction to mindfulness and working with our body, heart, and mind to grow our capacity for noticing with non-judgment our felt sense, our feelings, and our thoughts. We will practice developing curiosity within ourselves and creating an inner spaciousness to be with what is here in the present moment. We will practice working with our capacity to notice within ourselves as well as practice in small groups of 2 or 3 noticing how the impact of others can impact our internal state.
Through practice, noticing increases our ability to decrease our acting out on internal and external reactivity and increases our ability to respond to ourselves and others from a space of grounded awareness and sensitivity.
